Our target

We design and test against WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the standard referenced by the Accessible Canada Act and by Ontario’s AODA information and communications requirements.

What that means in practice

  • Colour contrast on this site is audited at the sizes text is actually rendered at.
  • Every control is reachable and operable from the keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
  • Interactive results — the pricing estimate, the receipt calculator, the webhook feed — announce their updates to screen readers.
  • Motion is reduced automatically when your system asks for it, and sticky elements release at high zoom so they do not consume the viewport.
  • Decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology; meaningful ones carry text alternatives.

Known gaps

This site is built desktop-first. Layouts reflow and remain usable on smaller screens, but a dedicated mobile design has not yet shipped. We are working on it.

Tell us when we get it wrong

If any part of this site or the aucti product creates a barrier for you, email ryan@aucti.io. Describe the page and what happened; a person in Ottawa reads it. We aim to reply within two business days and will offer the information in another format while we fix the underlying issue.
